A twin-pump booster set, installed to restore strong, consistent water pressure
Boosting weak mains water pressure
Low mains pressure is a common problem in older properties, flats, and homes on the upper floors of a building — showers that trickle, taps that struggle, and appliances that will not fill properly are usually a sign that the incoming supply cannot keep up with demand.
A correctly sized booster set brings pressure and flow up to a usable level throughout the property, giving every outlet the performance it should have. We assess the incoming supply and specify a set-up that matches your property’s actual demand, rather than over- or under-sizing the equipment.
Why choose Splix?

A Hargassner biomass boiler, installed as part of a renewable heating system
Biomass and renewable heating systems
Not every property sits on the mains gas grid, and not every customer wants a fossil-fuel system. We install and plumb in biomass boilers and other renewable heat sources alongside the cylinders, buffer vessels, and pipework needed to make them work properly as part of a complete heating system.
These installations are larger and more involved than a typical domestic swap, and we bring the same attention to detail — tidy pipework, correctly sized components, and a system that is commissioned properly before we leave.

Commercial and larger-scale installations
Alongside everyday domestic plumbing and heating work, we take on larger installations too — purpose-built plant rooms, multi-cylinder systems, and bespoke enclosures housing everything a bigger property or small commercial site needs.
These projects are planned properly from the outset: correctly routed pipework, accessible isolation points, and a layout that makes future servicing straightforward — not just a system that works on day one.
